The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 is a great addition to the BlackBerry Storm range which includes another handset known as the BlackBerry Storm 9500 which is a stunning Smartphone. The Storm 2 9520 supports a large touch screen complete with high quality Smartphone features which allows its user to communicate with ease & in style. The handset has a sleek black coloured casing & the user can enjoy a user friendly BlackBerry operating system on their Smartphone. Its casing is a good size which can be used in a single hand & has a solid feel. It measures 11.25cm tall, 6.22cm wide by 1.4cm deep & its total weigh including its fitted battery is 160 grams. There is an impressive touch screen which provides a high colour display at a 480 pixel by 360 pixel resolution. This touch screen measures 3.2 Inches from corner to corner & fills the front of the casing, although the user can access the call & back keys located neatly beneath the screen. This stunning BlackBerry Smartphone supports a SurePress™ touch screen navigation feature & SureType® which allows the user to enjoy accurate touch screen controls. The user can input letters & numbers by using the onscreen keypad or the onscreen full QWERTY keyboard. The touch screen QWERTY keyboard can be viewed & used when the handset is either in portrait or landscape mode depending on the user’s preference. For security the touch screen comes with a screen lock feature & the user can use a password to protect their Smartphone for added security.
The Storm 2 9520 comes with a battery which can be fully recharged via the power adapter. When the battery is recharged it can provide up to five hours of GSM talk time or approximately 305 hours of GSM standby time, but this will change when the user is using their Smartphone over a 3G network. This Smartphone supports 3G HSDPA technology which allows the user to experience high speed connectivity & allows the user to enjoy a fast Internet experience on their handset. The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 supports Bluetooth® wireless technology which allows the user to connect to other Bluetooth® compatible devices without using wires to connect the two devices. A USB connect can be made between the Storm 2 9520 & other USB devices which is ideal when the user wishes to transfer data between two USB compatible devices. Its EDGE & GPRS support allows the user to experience high speed transfer rates. The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 comes with two hundred & fifty six megabytes of flash memory & the casing has an expandable memory card slot which holds a MicroSD™ type memory card, & this handset has two gigabytes of preinstalled memory. It works over a 3G HSDPA 2100 network as well as working over GSM networks 850, 900, 1800, & 1900, which makes this a quad band network handset which will automatically switch between GSM networks when needed.
The Storm 2 9520 comes with a variety of high quality multimedia & imaging features which can be enjoyed by its user & others when the handset is shared amongst friends. Its media player supports many music playback formats & provides the user with a high quality sound output. There is a built in video player which supports video playback in MPEG4, H263 format, H264 & WMV video format, & the user can stream videos on their new Storm 2 9520. There is a 3.2 megapixel camera lens positioned on the back of the casing & the large touch screen works as a perfect viewfinder when the user is capturing a photo or recording a video. This 3.2 megapixel camera supports video recording capabilities as well as still photo capturing. It has an automatic focus function which provides a clear & well focused shot each time the camera feature is used. The user can add light to their photos by using the built in flash, & the camera has an image stabiliser which will ensure a wobble free photo or video is captured using this integrated camera. The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has a built in speaker which allows the user to hear sound including their music & video playback out loud, & an integrated microphone allows the user to make voice or sound recording on their new Smartphone.
